Alfori Pure Est Orange is an orange wine from the Spanish region of Valencia made 100% from the Macabeo grape. Orange wines are technically made like red wines, only from white grapes. This means that after crushing the grapes, the must and juice are aged for some time on the skins and stones, from where the dyes and tannins get to the theoretically white wine. After the maceration period, the juice is filtered and fermented. This results in a wine with interesting aromas of ripe stone fruits (quince, apricot), slightly marked citruses and a distinct, refreshing minerality. On the palate there are aromas of dried apricots and slightly candied stone fruit, as well as subtle and delicate tannins. Delicate finish.
